Another cold, cold day has started. It was Sunday morning and the girl with brown hair woke up at nine-thirthy but she preferred stayed in the bed, her body was way better underneath the sheets. Whitney didn’t want to leave her warm bed because she knew outside of the bed was cold, outside of the dormitories was colder though. Her body was turned to the otherside, where window was. Is it snowing outside? she whispered, she closed her eyes slightly and tried to fall asleep again. It wasn’t working, she couldn’t fall asleep after once she woke up since she was little. Whitney never liked this because she always wanted to sleep more and more and never get up. The girl sat up slightly, half of her body was still under the sheet. She pushed it away with her feet. Whitney didn’t know what to do exactly, on Sundays she mostly didn’t have any plans. There was a song playing in her head, she knew the lyrics but she couldn’t remember who sang the song. What’s the matter? What’s the matter with you lately?, she was muttering. Her closet was wide open, her hands were trying to find something nice to wear. She looked out the window, the girl should’ve worn one of her winter clothings. Whitney wore her black coat at last and now she was ready to grab something to eat. She put on her headphones and picked a song on her MP3 player and then she started walking down to the cafeteria. It was twelve-thirthy, the cafeteria shouldn’t be crowded which Whitney liked. Whitney didn’t like to eat in crowd when she was on her own, it would never be comfortable for her. There was a couple of empty tables, one of them was in the middle of cafeteria so she wouldn’t pick that one. One of them was near the door, it could be nice to watch outside but she picked the last one which was in the corner. Her eyes were gazing at the tables, maybe she would bump into someone familiar but there was noone. The girl took a deep breath, she always liked to eat something sweet as a breakfast. Maybe it wasn’t so healthy or a good breakfast but she couldn’t change it. Whitney ordered one slice of chocolate cake and one berry-muffin. For drink, she preferred orange juice today. She mostly drank early grey tea in the mornings, which helped her to wake her completely. Whitney paid for what she ordered and then took seat at the table. these dry bones cry for you |
