BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SPECIALIST SUBJECT(S):

engineering: i went to elementary school in turkey, for eight years. i've been educated in a private school. my mother and father always wanted me to be an engineer like my big brother. i've mostly stayed inside and studied with my brother who helped me a lot about lessons. after those eight, my father decided to move back to his hometown, Kansas, because he wanted me to get better education in high school and after.

optimisation: during my childhood, i didn't know what to do when i grow up. but after one year we moved to usa, i had knowledge of optimisation which i wanted to study on. it wasn't quite hard but it wasn't easy either.

anime&manga: when i started blue valley high school in kansas, i met a guy who's been really into animes. the only thing he talked about was animes and he was really living it. so i was curious about what it really was, i joined the guy's club. it was a bit interesting, especially the cosplay days. they dressed up like they were an anime character, i didn't try but i liked watching them. it was like my hobby, watching animes and reading mangas. at least i have an activity apart from mathematics.
