The principals of the brand new, recently opened OASIS program - the well-known millionaires, do-gooders and power couple, English actor Eddie Oakley and American author Ariane Shaw - want better for their kids than the school systems they've experienced. So they decided to try and beat schools at their own game. With their combined intelligence and teaching knowledge; alongside Eddie's experiences as headmaster of a school back home in England; and Ariane's maternal instinct; the two dreamt up the Oakley and Smith Innovative Schooling program.

Built to cater for all six of the Oakley-Shaw children, the program takes on students from thirteen to twenty-one. Last year, the family spread the news about OASIS, and invited any student who was within the age range and could speak fluent English to post them a registration form. From those thousands of forms, a few hundred students selected for the very first year of the program, with each and every student being picked for the passion shown in their specialist subject.

Those chosen were instructed to be ready for the start of OASIS in the fall of 2012 - students boarding at the school were invited to establish themselves from Monday, October 1st onwards, and the first day of semester for all students and teachers subsequently began on Monday, October 15th.

Naturally, there's a catch - there are fees. Teachers are of a high quality, and students are strongly encouraged to board at the school as part of the program. However, as OASIS is a newly-launched experimental schooling program, it's affordable in comparison to rivalling establishments of the same calibre. Plus, there are also scholarships on offer - ones that can pay partial amounts of the fees, and ones that pay the full amount. There's no doubt that OASIS is striving to achieve great things, and those things include talented students and high grades. So... If you've got a gift, make sure that you flaunt it.
