She’d come to this school in all hopes of pursuing an equestrian future, though she supposed she still needed to the other things. Science was just such a difficult subject though! Dev slowly counted the seconds ticking her mind as her boredom grew. A bored Dev tended to do naughty things and she knew she was near the point where she was going to do something to amuse the lives of the poor souls stuck in the library.
Before that however, she really was hoping to find a good book for herself and the girl was pretty set on doing that for the time being. Moving off into the heavily sheltered aisles between the large shelves, blue/green eyes searched quickly through all the reads. Scoffing at the daily vampire teen dose of books, Dev moved on. English itself was a difficult language to read, and she wanted something that was well worth her time. Something that would amuse her as well would most definitely suffice and it was just her luck the library seemed to have only the usual melodramatic romance novels in the main teen section.
Realizing her poor job of quick skimming wasn’t going to work, Dev started to read the books from the bottom shelf up one by one. While it may have been a bit tedious, it certainly had a good chance at bringing a good read up for her. Dev grinned as one about a spy popped up. She’d seen the French version of the books some time ago, though she hadn’t been into much reading back in Monaco. Reaching up on her tip toes to grab it, Dev realized she couldn’t quite reach it.
Being Dev, the girl decided climbing on the shelves would certainly be much quicker and easier than going all the way to a taller person to get the book. With no hesitation, the brunette placed a careful foot on the first shelf. It creaked a bit under her weight but didn’t budge and the girl easily made it to the third one. By now, she could see over the shelf to the next side where a rather grumpy, old looking teacher sat. That caught her attention. Dev grinned wildly. Having a bit of fun wouldn’t hurt, would it? Sticking out her tongue in small effort as she pulled off one of the hairbands from her wrist, the brunette put it on her finger in gun fashion. Aiming down, she took and aim and finally let it go. The band flew and hit the teacher in the arm. Dev felt herself cracking up, but held it in until the woman let out a grunt and turned her face in all different directions to see who the culprit was. “Whoever did that, come out right now this minute!” Giggling silently now, the girl grabbed her book and jumped off the shelf. She probably would have to run now or risk getting caught by the woman. Already, she could hear her coming closer.
OOC: Haha, have fun replying! <3

I've got my moon boots on. ****** With his mind set on the next chemistry test and his heart set on reading Science Daily before he'd start "studying," Rezo walked across the long spacious corridors of Oasis. After astronomy, chemistry was Rezo's favourite field of science. astronomy and chemistry had a great deal in common. Without chemistry, there would be no astronomy. Well correctly speaking, without the miracles of chemistry there would be nothing because we wouldn't exist. Even though Rezo wasn't an expert on chemistry, he definitely knew a great deal about it just by revising his own astronomy books. So there wasn't much to study for, it was just a good excuse to prove to himself he was as normal as any other person by going to the library to study and of course reading Science Daily was only meant for research purposes and of course most definitely not for fun, uhu. As he came closer to the library and felt like he could already smell the books,he wondered who he was kidding. He was a geek, period.
He walked into the library focused on getting to the computers as quickly as possible until he saw something odd in the corner of his eye. He paused, looked and examined the creature. A female of the species homo sapiens, he concluded. A regular occurrence, but there was a certain irregularity to her behaviour. He had observed that those females of the species homo sapiens would normally sit down while bending over a book, at least that's what they would do in a library. Outside the library females did all sorts of magical things he couldn't label. However, this female used an object usually used for stacking books to climb on, apparently said object functioned as a watchtower as she defended the honor of who knows what by catapulting something females usually put in their hair at an older male even though there were no signs that said male was meaning to do any harm to said female. A most peculiar sight.
This female was now seemingly escaping the wrath of a female librarian and trying to head out of the library without being noticed, or perhaps while being noticed, hard to tell since that librarian was most definitely coming closer. Rezo definitely rooted for the peculiar female and hoped she would escape the library before being caught by the female librarian.
Unaware of the fact that he was not in fact an invisible observer but that he was actually physically present in the room, he was still standing still at the entrance and exit of the library... ***** I'm a man on a mission

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2vafwqd.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] Dev looked both ways and listened as intently as she possibly could for the incoming footsteps of the angry librarian. She certainly didn’t need to get into trouble in her first few weeks at the school, especially since she was in a totally different country. The brunette scoffed, she barely got into trouble anyway, so she wasn’t too worried. Right now, however, her wits and adrenaline were all coming into play as she ran/tiptoed as quietly as she could through the shelves before racing past her table and grabbing her bag in one hand. Oh well, she’d have to check that good book out later…
The girl collected up her science book, as heavy as it was in the other and bounded for the library exit. She couldn’t help but thank whatever was up there for the fact that there was only one librarian on duty today. Wincing slightly, Dev knew the whole concept of running would be useless if she showed the woman her face. Still, she could hear the angry words of the adult as she noisily followed Dev’s path. The girl was doing pretty well for such a large library and reached the exit in a matter of seconds.
There, she couldn’t help but stop. A boy, her age was looking intently at her and she caught his eye. Dev made a curious face before chuckling again at the nasal-like sounding exclamation. “Stop right there! Both of you!” The brunette had stopped, but she hadn’t stopped because of that. Despite her usual method of escaping in a blink of an eye, she knew she only had a few moments before she was caught. However, she couldn’t leave quite yet. The woman had said the “both” of the them- which of course implied, this intriguing boy was going to be in trouble too.
Letting out an exasperated sigh, she turned towards the boy, before impulsively grabbing his hand and tugging on it to get him to come with her. “Allez vite!” she told him in a hurried voice, before realizing he probably didn’t understand. Taking the last few moments she had to try and figure out the English meaning for the words she needed she finally grinned at him “Run! Or you will get into trouble!” she tried to explain, her voice coming out in a very heavy accent. The woman was coming closer, and there was no more time to explain. Dev yanked the boy out of the library and began to run into the hallway of swarming students. She wasn’t sure why she had just saved him- perhaps because he was particularly good looking… or the rare oddity that she was being a good person; either way, Dev was definitely not bored now.
OOC: Sorry about her practically kidnapping him, I hope you don't mind.

You trembled like you'd seen a ghost ****** Time was a weird concept, examining the girl's behaviour and the chase involving the librarian seemed to play in his head like it was one of those dreary day-filling documentaries on National Geographic, even though it must have been a matter of mere minutes, seconds even. But everything that happened afterwards seemed to happen in a split second, while it must have taken just as long. He was still processing the librarian's accusation and the girl's foreign words when she kidnapped him into the hallways.
There was nothing he could do, all he could do was follow. One: as ashamed as he was to admit it, she was much stronger than him. He couldn't possibly free himself from her grip. Two: he could better team up with her since he was accused of committing her crimes. Besides, she was helping him out. So she was being nice to him.
When they finally stopped running it took him a while to catch his breath before he could finally speak. "Thank you, I mean.. yeah.." he breathed. Not knowing what to say next he just blurted out the next random thing that came to his mind: "You're French.." He said, half avoiding her eyes and still catching his breath. He wished he could hide in some dark corner forever because she was probably already regretting saving him, such a fool he was. First of all, he should have been the one saving her, well that's what they did in fairytales and hollywood movies. Second of all, there were so many things he could have said to her and all he managed was a stupid thank you and something random. "I'm a major fool, I know. Sorry for blocking the exit. Sometimes I'm not aware that I'm actually there.", he said apologizing, managing a sheepish grin. ****** And I gave in OOC1: Oh I don't mind at all. xD OOC2: I haven't got the right playby, he hasn't got that many pictures up so I don't have lots of pictures that can easily fit into templates and stuff so that's why I make my own.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2vafwqd.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] With the librarian on their heels and the dangerous thought of actually getting into trouble when she didn’t have someone to rant to in this country, Dev’s mind was on autopilot. She was an impulsive person in general, though when in the moment when there was barely any time to think, the brunette barely did. Certainly, there was no time for second thinking and Dev was already bounding out the door, hand in hand with a person she didn’t even know. While it wasn’t uncommon for her to do nice things, she was usually less open to strangers. She wasn’t shy for certain, but Dev was quite sure she hadn’t made contact with someone before she’d even exchanged a word with them before.
Still, the brunette was quite happy this boy had decided to come along instead of getting them both into trouble. Perhaps, he had brains after all. After giving him a quick look over, Dev was pretty sure he was one of the smart kids of the campus. She grinned slightly, the adrenaline still pumping through her veins even though it was quite obvious they had stopped running. Dev pulled him off to the side near the water fountains to catch her breath as well. The last thing she needed was to be shoved by one of the many students walking through the hallway anyway.
Looking up at the boy as she heard him speak, she raised a brow at his thank you. Despite her feel of doing something nice, Dev found it amusing he was thanking her for saving him from getting accused for something she did. Still, she supposed if she hadn’t he really would have gotten into trouble and she would already have someone that despised her in the first month she’d arrived. “De rien.” her voice was automatic, before she shook her head “No, I mean I am sorry. I did not mean to cause such a – how do you say? A ruckus. But you are welcome.”
As the boy went to comment on the fact she was indeed French, Dev let out a chuckle. He seemed to say the obvious, though she hoped this fact didn’t bother him. He had an accent as well, though it wasn’t nearly as strong as hers. She shook her head, a joking grin on her face “Non, my name is not French, but yes, I am from Monte Carlo. I am Dev. Enchanté.” Dev held back the urge to kiss both his cheeks, as she had learned that was not a custom here. The girl let out a giggle as the boy went on to speak more. It had already been a few moments and she found him quite amusing, in a nice way. “Non! It is alright. Everyone needs a –“ Dev paused on the phrase trying to remember what it was “a partner in crime, no?”

ჩემი ხატია სამშობლო ****** He thought he saw it in her eyes, she thought he was a fool. And he agreed. Well he had just stated it, she only had to agree with it in silence. "Well, if it wasn't for you I would have been in trouble because I'm totally in awe of people higher in rank.", he paused for a moment trying to figure out whether it was better to pretend he totally just didn't say that or go along with it and make it worse. "The moment that librarian would have come up to me and told me that I was in trouble I would have pleaded guilty and act like truer words have never been uttered on this crazy little planet."And he made it worse, although he wanted to pat himself on the back for making it sound convincing and even managed a smile, instead of going for an awkward 'just kidding'.
He looked at her properly now, and noticed that she was in fact quite charming, to say the least. Usually he'd start to become really shy by now and blush but perhaps the adrenalin rush made him loosen up and he went on to introduce himself to her. "It's a pleasure to meet you Dev." he bowed, nearly kissed her hand but at the last moment realized it was the 21st century and not 1756 and decided that it would creep her out, so he just said: "I'm Revaz, or Rezo. Rezo is the official Georgian nickname for Revaz, which probably doesn't make sense to you at all. It barely makes sense to me, and then you haven't even seen our script."he paused and let out a slight chuckle. "So you're not the only foreigner on campus, I'm actually from Georgia, but my dad is, or was.. American so a lot of people don't notice and it takes so much explaining that there's actually a country called Georgia and that I'm not from the state of Georgia." He smiled and immediately stopped talking as he noticed he was rambling, thinking she was probably half asleep by now. ****** სახატე მთელი ქვეყანა OOC1:When I saw him I was like I NEED YOUR FACE. So I am happy with him just not with his modelling career so far xD OOC2: Perhaps you're seeing all sorts of blocks now instead of weird scribbly things. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2vafwqd.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] Living in Monaco, as she was from Monte Carlo in Monaco and near the country France with a rich family, Dev had been quite used to meeting new people from other European countries. There was a rather large amount of countries surrounding her anyway and Dev was rather proud of being Monacan. To her extreme surprise and annoyance, when she’d come to the states, not many knew what Monaco was and had simply assumed she was from France. She’d found it far too tiring to try and correct them after a dozen or so mistaken people, and had decided to simply smile in response as she knew it was not their fault.
Dev felt her eyebrows furthering upward as the boy began to speak again. She chuckled slightly, shaking her head. “Good thing I saved you, no, for I would’ve felt terrible had you done such a heroic thing.” The brunette responded back easily, quite happy now she had. For if he had willingly gotten in trouble for what she had done, the girl would have honestly felt quite terrible. Dev had set in morale from her parents, and though she liked to bend the rules once in a while, she certainly didn’t mess with the simple ones of courtesy. Though shooting a teacher in the arm with a hairband certainly wasn’t her way of being polite. It had only been a prank.
The brunette didn’t let the grin off her face as the boy went on to respond to her little introduction. It seemed he was diligently polite and for that, she found him already quite comforting. Dev had been properly schooled in being very polite to new people as her family had had so many different balls and dances she’d had to help host. Tilting her head a bit as she heard his accent, she waited somewhat impatiently to learn his name.
A chuckle left her lips as he went onto to tell her his name and then began to speak about the country of Georgia. Dev listened quite intently now, quite interested in all aspects of travel and meeting new people from around the world. Not the only foreigner? She was certainly quite happy to hear that. She nodded understandably as he went on to say something about the state of Georgia. Dev had certainly felt that way before. “That is quite fascinant! And yes, I must agree on the name. I do like it however. Rezo has a nice ring to it, no?” she hesitated a moment before giving a little caught grin “And I must admit, my full name is Devan. But like you, I have a nickname, which you know already.” She paused in her little talk about names before continuing onto what had interested her “You are from Georgia? I know of the country better than the state as I am from Europe. Around Russia, no? I do think we had a guest from there at our house once. Very beautiful language they have, though I do not understand it.” she chuckled at her speaking before widening her eyes in excitement “Do you speak it?”
OOC: I know! He must get out there more as he is hotttt. xD But as for seeing blocks, I see the squiggly things :D That is so cool!

Do I start at the end or do I end at the start? ****** Talking to this girl was surprisingly easy, she had a certain class and grace about her that were oddly comforting. He smiled shyly when she mentioned his 'heroic' stupidity. He was intrigued when he heard she wasn't just a 'regular' French girl but that she was actually from Monaco. Monaco of all places, he envisioned cars, casinos, fabulous looking and shallow people, plastic or just genetically blessed and just generally the 'good life.' He immediately cursed himself for judging while she was obviously not judging his origins by mentioning its virtues and not its flaws. He did twitch slightly the moment she mentioned Russia's proximity to Georgia.
Resisting the urge to mention the 2008 war he said: "Yes close to Russia indeed, I even speak some Russian, but everyone in the region does so that's not exceptional." he paused for a moment, glad he survived mentioning Russia without mentioning the war. He continued. "And I do speak Georgian, although it's deteriorating now that I'm in the USA and I only speak Georgian once a week these days when I call my mother. I could teach you some if you like, then you could teach me French since I quite liked the way bossing around in French sounded back in the library." He laughed, looking at her with a cheeky smirk.
Monaco was still on his mind but he knew one of his most pressing questions to be rude so he tried to come up with something more innocent and he definitely didn't want to screw this up, he liked this girl even though he didn't know much more than her name, her nationality and that she had a cute little accent, he didn't even know what brought her to Oasis. "I've heard many things about Monaco, I'd love to go there myself but I can't help but wonder what made your family decide to live in Monaco, sorry for asking it's just that France is such a fine country too, I've got family in France, forgot where exactly, they moved there because they saw no future for their children in Georgia." He tilted his head slightly patiently awaiting her answer, hoping he wasn't being rude in any way.****** And in this little bit of time will I get very far?

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2vafwqd.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] Dev was a rather open person. She didn’t tend to look to into things as much as she should’ve, or judge, simply because that was one of her pet peeves. When people judged who she was and what she would be like based on her parents, the ‘Fille de Monsieur Leroy’ grew quite self-conscious. She was rather sweet despite having parents with money. They were good parents and didn’t get her everything she wanted; rather, they didn’t let her have a lot of things- including letting her go out and party with the other kids of Monaco. Because of this, she grew into somewhat of a rebel, but an innocent one.
The brunette let her bluish eyes take in the boy’s appearance once again. He was cute, in that nerdy sort of way, though Dev hadn’t really met many boys her age. When she did, they were more of the rich, spoilt brats of the rich families her father had invited over to their house. As Rezo spoke in reply to her curiosity about his country, Dev couldn’t help but feel as if she had touched a sensitive subject. She raised a brow before nodding slightly. He knew two languages and a little of a third one? That was pretty good in her standards.
The brunette’s lips pulled up into a lopsided, excited grin as he commented that he could probably teach her. Dev finally let out a laugh as he continued his comment however. French and bossiness was certainly a nice combination. “Oui! I would love it if you taught me some! As for teaching you français, I can certainly, though with the bossy part, I think you just kind of have to learn that on your own, no?” The brunette winked at him however and added in a smaller voice “I quite like to use the language when bossing people around too. Though no one would understand here.” she grinned at the thought of that.
Dev could feel the boy’s interest in her country, and cringed a little. She had come to the school not wanting to be judged and she certainly hoped the boy had changed his opinion on her already. Rezo seemed nice and he was the first person she actually was talking to, so it didn’t seem right for her to mess things up already. Monaco was a very rich country, that was for sure; and Dev’s family was a very rich family. However, the little girl in that family was not rich. She had been living in a prison of kind her whole life. The girl bit her lip slightly as the boy began to speak again, but tilted her head as he continued. Why her family chose to live there? Dev frowned, she wasn’t planning to tell people so quickly who she was as it was the cause of many friendship enders due to people hating her already. “Ermm… Well, my Papa… he very much likes our country as his family has lived there for many generations.” Dev explained as subtly as she could without adding on the fact her Papa was one of the higher people in the actual country with their famous horses. She nodded however “And oui, France is very beautiful. Too big for me though, no?” she chuckled slightly before continuing the conversation “And non! Do not be sorry for questions. I ask too many anyway. Please do tell me to, how do you say – shut up; if I am rude.” Dev giggled at this, knowing her habits quite well.

Waste days in foreign places ****** He put on a fake sad face the moment she said that he'd have to learn the bossy part on his own. "Too bad, I thought the bossy part was included in the package deal that comes with learning French.."He smiled at the suggestion of her bossing around people in French even though they wouldn't understand her, he thought to himself that perhaps the not understanding part was the key of its effectiveness.
He remembered his mother telling stories of how she worked as an au pair in Wales for a couple of months to be able to pay for her studies. She hardly understood a word of English back in the day and she had the 'luck' to work for a family in which the woman of the house had certain autoritarian ways and would pretend his mother wasn't just an au pair but also a maid and a cook. His mother was a good person, because she must've felt awful but up to this day she can laugh about it.
Realizing he was daydreaming he shook his head a little and told himself to stay awake because who knew he would ever get the chance to talk to this girl again? Luckily he could multitask because he somehow remembered what she said about France and her father. "France is indeed huge, well on the map anyways.. and I guess you know better than I do so I don't know why I'm telling you this.."He chuckled awkwardly, and he felt the urge to slap himself once again and he did in his thoughts before continuing. "The USA is very big as well, so it must be weird for you to have lived in a country practically the size of a football field all your life and being here now, I guess this campus might be as big as Monaco, haha, so what brought you here?"He asked, knowing the change of subject in one sentence didn't make much sense but he was dying to know why this French girl from Monaco was here, since she partially seemed to be avoiding to answer his question completely, this father of hers was probably an 'intriguing' figure to say the least. ****** Shed a light on your better side OOC1: Sorry for my lack of inspiration and therefore words xD I'm not sure if it's my shortest reply but it definitely feels like it xD

Her eyes held quite a bit of interest as she eyed the boy she’d managed to save and meet in the first week of her schooling experience in the USA. She had of course had similar situations before due to her constant pranking personality, but the brunette hadn’t thought such things would happen in a different country. She was actually quite clueless as to what would happen, though she was certainly quite excited and ready to tackle whatever came to greet her. Upon meeting the interesting new individual from abroad as well, Dev’s attention was quite captivated.
The girl offered the boy a grin as he put on a fake pout, finding it quite adorable. She was a bit surprised however. From coming out of the library and making a conversation, Rezo had certainly opened up more. Dev took this as a good thing hopefully. He had a sense of humor as well which was definitely a good thing. She chuckled and shook her head fake apologetically “Oh mon dieu, perhaps bossing you around a bit more will help you to learn?” she teased with a cheeky grin. Of course, she wasn’t going to boss him anymore than she already had, but Dev couldn’t help but tease back to that.
Dev watched the boy carefully, curious and a bit wary as what his reply would be to her rather ominous answer to his questions. She laughed at his fumble for words, finding this all the more amusing in a good way. “Non, I have a bad habit of forgetting things anyway. You have just reminded me again. Thank you.” she was joking of course, and assured the boy with a wink before listening to his next words. The size of football field certainly described Monaco quite well.
Still, they were a proud little country! Well, not Dev in particular, but her father certainly was. She chuckled at this comment nodding an agreement. “Yes, this state itself is quite large, no? It is a bit scary.” she admitted softly before shaking her head at herself. Her eyes lit up with realization as the boy asked what had brought her to Oasis. Certainly, she’d told him by now?! Dev almost always had her horse on her mind. She blushed slightly at her lack of memory “I come here as an equestrian.” Her voice held a bit of happiness to them before she looked back at Rezo with curiosity. “And you? What do you like?” As much as she hated judging, from the boy’s slightly smart appearance, Dev figured he was rather smart.

The brightest lights ****** He was tempted to look at his watch, not because he was bored, no the opposite actually. It was just that he wanted to know how long they had been talking already. He was doing well for himself today, he had never talked to a girl this long before. A girl that was not his mother of course. He made a note in his head that he should bring a timer the next time he would talk to a girl, hopefully that girl would be this girl. Immediately he mentally erased the note, as he thought to himself that it would be an absurd and stupid thing to do, and it made him sound like a total loser. Well perhaps he was a total loser, but as of today he was improving. Or maybe it wasn't just today that he was improving, in his first week here he had done more things he was quite proud of. Apparently being in the USA changed him, maybe one day he would be as easygoing and popular as his dad.
He laughed out loud at her suggestion that she should boss him around more often. "It would be an honour if you are willing to do so."He said, making a formal gesture with his hand as while nodding his head slightly.
"So you're into horses.."he considered, not quite sure if it surprised him or not, he did guess she was rich and rich people generally seemed to like horses, or they liked owning them at least. "I'm into astronomy myself, but don't worry I'm not a science fiction geek who believes in aliens and crazy stuff. Although perhaps you can still pretty much say that I'm a geek.."He said with a smile. He was dying to know what she thought, her face never seemed to show that much even if she would be disgusted she would be able to hide it, that's how much he knew about her or how much he thought he knew about her at this point.
"Do you have your own horse at home?" he asked thinking it would probably give him an insight in her, or her parents' financial situation. He was pleasantly surprised when he realized he didn't want to know the answer to that question because he wanted to know if she was rich, but that he was actually genuinely interested in her. He hoped that she realized that too, but perhaps she'd have to learn how to read minds. She probably already had her mind made up about his intentions when he was asking her why they lived in Monaco and not in France. He was patiently awaiting her answer, still terrified it would backfire completely despite her saying before that she didn't mind his questions. ****** Cast the darkest shadows

Of course, the girl was a teenager and had teenage urges, though unlike many girls her age, the brunette truly was clueless when it came to anything of the romantic sort. She had been sheltered the majority of her life and while this was most certainly a safe thing to do, it had kept the girl away from the outside world for a while. Of course, in school there had been the few couples around daring to display personal affections in front of the prefects, though at every sight of these, Dev would make a gross face. The girl however, was quite a hypocrite as she’d always wondered what it felt like to be one of these people “in love” one day.
The brunette grinned in response to Rezo’s laugh, rather liking the sound of it. It had a certain honest quality to it that she couldn’t place with a little bit of the accent in his voice. A rather rare laugh, or so she assumed as she hadn’t heard much laughing from where she had come from other than the haughty, proper, polite little laughs the rich people of Monaco did. Winking at the boy, Dev nodded “I shall keep that in mind as it will be an honor to do so as well.” she responded in an amused tone.
The brunette’s easy going expression diminished slightly as the boy responded to her answer. She had been hoping to keep the whole rich aspect of her life a bit of a secret in the new country; though with the way she was going around, Dev figured it wasn’t going to stay quiet for long. The brunette shuddered slightly at the thought of the mean faces judging her once again, or even worse; the boys that flocked annoyingly to her side for her money.
As Rezo began to answer her question however, Dev got the feeling he wasn’t like those other boys. She felt her grin grow strong again as he confirmed her thoughts on what he would be. This certainly was good news. The brunette had always been rather intrigued with the stars, though not enough to explore them in depth. “Très joli! I do love the stars….” she commented rather dreamily before coming back down to earth and giving the boy a guilty smile “Though, I am actually very bad at science. I do wish I was a- how do you say – geek too.” Dev paused on this, thinking for a moment “Well actually, I guess I am in my own ways, no?” she chuckled slightly to herself.
Her chuckle was interrupted as the boy asked if she had her own horse at home. Dev bit her lip slightly in anxiety before thinking on what to say. She had horses at home. She had barns and barns of horses, as well as other properties spread out around Monaco. Though, really- they were her father’s horses. Finally, she looked at the boy, and figured she might as well be truthful. “Oui, I do have my own horses. Though I do have one here as well.” Her mood immediately lightened at the thought of her sweet gelding in the Animal Center. “His name is Tietro.” Dev’s eyes lit with soft excitement as she went on “I should introduce you to him, no?” That certainly would be fun!

I'll watch the buildings turn to dust ****** He noticed how she used the plural, so she didn't just own one horse, no.. she had multiple horses and she even had her own horse here. She was rich, that was for sure. But he felt that she didn't want emphasize it and he felt an odd sense of gratefulness for that. Perhaps she felt sorry for him and didn't want him to feel uneasy about her or her parents' money. Compared to her he was poor, but compared to other families in Georgia they were relatively well off, especially because of his dad's heritage which provided them with a more than decent living standard. His mother could even pay the fees for the international schools he attended throughout the years.
"I would definitely like to meet your horse, maybe it takes after its owner."He said with a cheeky grin, not quite knowing what exactly he meant by saying that. "Horses remind me of soldiers, well fake soldiers that is.. the ones you'd see at folklore manifestations at home, that made Georgia seem powerful and a tad bit medieval I must say." He murmured picturing those manifestations. Those men with their dark beards and their dark costumes and Caucasian fur hats always left him amazed as they would pass by looking like nothing in the world would frighten them. They were no real soldiers and they were weak on their horses if they would actually fight against modern weapons. 'Mother Russia's modern weapons came to mind. The real Georgian Army didn't consist of such impressive strong men and their weapons were far from being as impressive.
"My father inspired me to look at the stars.."He said, looking up at the sky, blinded by the sun, but he knew.. he was always there. Yet he didn't dare to tell this girl straight away that his father wasn't there anymore. Partly because he didn't know how he could get the words to pass his lips and partly because he didn't want her to feel sorry for him. He knew that she didn't think of him as a tough guy, that ship had sailed ages ago. That ship never made it into the water in the first place, it was obvious that his whole being screamed: softie. You only had to look at his body language or listen to the first words he said and you'd know as much. Trying not to think about it too much he directly tried to change the subject before she could ask anything."Science is totally my thing, well there are subjects which I can't be bothered to look at since they're so dull but in general it's my thing I guess so if you need help, I could help you."He answered with a polite smile. ****** A sky of diamonds just for us

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2vafwqd.jpg), border: solid #ffffff 5px; width: 400px; height: 500px;] She was confused to say the least at all this talk about war and soldiers; due to the fact, the horses she dealt with would be the last creatures every to step even one hoof into such a place. The very thought of it was quite obnoxiously amusing; the brunette couldn’t help but laugh. She agreed to an extent however; from all the history classes she’d taken in the past had taught her some of the cavalry they’d had back in the old ages. The past was for the most part – a fascinating topic; unless of course she focused on her own book of the before.
For some weird reason, the past had a tendency to make her feel sad – though she’d never really had much of a serious issue that caused her to have traumatic effects of the sort. She’d never even lost a parent for that matter; though the constant sneers and jeers she’d gotten for being one of the highest men’s daughters in the country had pushed her to teeter on an edge of simple recklessness. She eyed the boy softly, very happy with his cheeky reply – but mainly wondering if he meant it as a compliment or not. Based on his expression, she hoped for the positive and nodded “And I am sure he will like you as much as the owner does as well.”
Dev winked at this, hoping to stir in some ominous note into there, though she was feeling rather uplifted. It was soon rooted however as the boy continued on to speak about the stars and his father. Though he had not said anything, she had understood with a certain level of perception – there was a tidbit of sorrow in his voice. She frowned slightly, and tilted her head before grinning away once more at his offer. Yes, a tutor would certainly be quite helpful. Dev was rather happy about this new concept and nodded quickly “Oh oui, sil vu plait! I would appreciate that greatly.” She chuckled slightly before adding “Though, you’d have to have a bit of patience to deal with me – I hope you don’t mind.” Dev batted her eyelashes teasingly at the boy, happy to be back to optimistic topics.
OOC: Sorry this took a whole century! <3
