xx. equestrianism: well, i can’t help but love horses. it’s kinda just been there since day one for me. my family has just been into it for generations. i’ve been pushed into it, and after riding for literally my whole life, i really do enjoy it. eventing, or one of the sports in horseback riding has been my passion, my force to go forward and actually try in life. my parents constantly nagging me to get good grades if i ever want to afford horses is also a pretty good force too, but i honestly love it. obsessed might be a great word to describe my relationship with anything horsey. who knows, maybe i’ll grow a pair of hooves and a tail one day eh?

xx. swimming: obviously, i’m not only good at one thing. that would actually be quite depressing. i decided to join the swim team in my old school because i just needed some fun form of exercising other than horse riding. swimming was quite tough for me at first, but after about five years, i’ve become somewhat of champ. hey, if you stay dedicated to something, you become good at it. that’s what i tell myself, and it does actually work. swimming for me really is more of a side thing, but i do try.

xx. photography: photography is somewhat of a hobby for me; i mainly do it in the nearly nonexistent spare time i have. it’s not like i’m one of those people that see the world through a lens, more like i like to look through a lens when life just gets too confusing. it calms me down and makes me appreciate the beauty of simpler things. it also allows me to get some pretty sweet pictures of me and my horse for facebook; but that’s just a bonus.

"as much as i wish not to admit it, my little student dev is growing up. over the years, she has shown her courageous, but quite stubborn self. the girl is quite bold, but a little dangerously unafraid. she has impulse on rare occasions; which has contributed greatly to the many scares i have had in my entire life. she likes to live life to its fullest and is quite the friendly sort. even if she cannot speak the english language as well as others at the school, dev will find a way to express herself and communicate with others. you put her in a place she has never experienced, she adapts very quickly. the girl also has a witty sense of humor, and has to be the last one to comment (this has caused me great frustrations over the years i’ve known her). finally, dev has a temper. i do think she would prefer if i didn’t get too into that. just imagine a little kitten that thinks it is a tiger. overall, dev was my best student and i love her to bits. i will miss her as she goes to america, but i hope she will find what she was looking for there as monte carlo wasn’t right for our dev."
